Refra’s hydrocarbon water-to-water heat pumps are designed to order, using natural refrigerant, R600a (isobutane) for ultra-low GWP and regulatory alignment. These reversible systems provide efficient heating and cooling via a water loop – ideal for integration with process systems, buffer storage, or combined networks. With current designs capable of delivering flow temperatures up to 80 °C, they’re well suited to applications including hot water production, district energy schemes, industrial heat recovery, and commercial heating retrofit projects
