CO2 Systems

Our CO2 systems deliver efficient, ultra-low GWP cooling for commercial and industrial applications using natural refrigerant R744. Designed for transcritical performance, they offer modular capacities from small-scale to multi-megawatt output. Supplied nitrogen-charged and factory-tested, they’re PFAS-free and suitable for both retrofit and new-build systems.

Hydrocarbon Chillers

Our Hydrocarbon chillers provide efficient, low-GWP cooling using natural refrigerants R290 (propane), making them ideal for commercial and industrial applications focused on sustainability and compliance. Designed for compact spaces and decentralised systems, they deliver high performance with low charge volumes and full EN378 compliance – offering a future-ready solution that supports low-carbon goals without compromising reliability. Comes with full DSEAR certification.

Hydrocarbon ASHP
Efficient low-carbon heating for modern building systems.
Our air source heat pumps use R290 (propane) – a natural refrigerant with an ultra-low GWP – to deliver efficient, high-temperature heating for commercial, industrial and public sector buildings. These systems are engineered for performance in UK climates, with robust operation across a wide ambient range and full compliance with EN378 standards.

Tanks & Pump Stations

Refra’s buffer tanks and pump stations are engineered to support stable flow, thermal storage, and system efficiency across chilled water, heating, and ambient loop networks. With capacities up to 3000 L and custom-built pump stations based on hydraulic schematics, they provide precise control, seamless integration, and long-term performance in demanding commercial and industrial application

With capacities up to 1.3 MW and pressure ratings up to 120 bar, the range offers space-efficient, energy-optimised solutions compatible with natural refrigerants and suited for rooftop, plant room, or free cooling applications.
